Building on my experience in managing several national and state-wide services (Western Australia and New South Wales), I now review and advise organisations and businesses on planning and implementation. I have guided strategic reviews for organisations throughout Australia and the Pacific.
I have guided organisational restructuring in community, state and national contexts. Based on my legal training, I have particular expertise in dealing with the challenges of risk management and human resources.
Policy Research and Development
Coming from an advocacy background, I have grounded my work in a commitment to learning and continuous professional development. My own work experience has included policy advice for government, coalitions and organisations, submissions, publications and presentations.
These skills are now applied to policy review and development and combined with strategic analysis and research to produce practical policy outcomes for my clients. These have included a wide range of community, national and international organisations.
I have particular strength in the areas of human rights, child rights and youth justice.
I have developed a number of national networks and a national corporate volunteering program in my past work. These skills are now used to broker community connections in corporate, academic and government sectors.
This work also enhances strategic management particularly in human resources and communications and can be used to build the quality of the policy reviews and outcomes
